The everyday problem
None of this is dramatic. It just happens every day, and it adds up to missed visits and a front desk that never gets a break.
Timings, fees, which doctor is in today, where to park. Your reception answers them all day, often while a patient is waiting at the counter.
Patients and their families often look for a doctor in the evening or at night. If your website can’t answer, many don’t wait; they try another clinic.
“We’ll get back to you” doesn’t tell a worried patient whether the doctor is in on Saturday. They want to know now.
When a message just says “call me”, your team has to ask everything again before they can book the visit.
How it works
Doctors, timings, fees, services and location, written the way you’d explain them to a new receptionist. No technical skills needed.
It answers on your website straight away, in your clinic’s words. When a patient wants to visit, it takes their name, number, preferred time and reason for visit.
Every appointment request is emailed to you as it comes in, so your team calls back already knowing what the patient needs.

What patients ask
Answered straight away, from your own clinic information, whatever the time.
What your clinic gets
Late-night questions get answered, and appointment requests are waiting for you in the morning.
Name, number, preferred time and reason for visit, before anyone picks up the phone.
Fewer repeat calls about timings and fees, so reception can focus on the patients in front of them.
Reports show the questions patients ask most, so you can see what to explain better or add to your services.
Reply to patients on WhatsApp too, from the same clinic information.
Safe with health questions
The biggest worry with an assistant on a clinic website is it saying the wrong thing about someone's health. Here's how Monology handles that.
It doesn’t guess what a symptom could be or suggest any medicine. It tells the patient the doctor will need to see them and offers to arrange a visit.
If someone describes an emergency, it tells them to call emergency services or go to the nearest hospital straight away, instead of booking an appointment.
Answers come from the details you provide. When something isn’t covered, it says so and offers a call back rather than making something up.
Name, phone, preferred time and reason for visit. It doesn’t ask for medical records, ID numbers or payment details.
Test it before patients see it. These rules are part of your assistant's instructions, so you can try the hard questions yourself during the free trial. We also measured how often our assistant makes things up: on our own test set of 65 questions, it made one unsupported claim in 49 answers and correctly declined all 15 questions it shouldn't have answered. That was our test set, not your clinic's information, so results will vary. Read the full results
Who it's for
“Is the doctor in this evening?”
“Which doctor should I see for back pain?”
“How much does a cleaning cost?”
“Do you have a 10-session package?”
“Do I need to fast for this test?”
“Do you offer a free first consultation?”
Questions clinics ask
No. It shares your clinic’s practical information (timings, fees, services, location) and takes appointment requests. It’s set up not to diagnose, suggest causes or recommend medicine; instead it tells the patient the doctor will need to see them. You can test this yourself during the free trial, before any patient sees it.
It answers only from the information you give it, and when something isn’t covered, it says so and offers a call back instead of guessing. No system is perfect, so keep your clinic details up to date. Your reports show what patients are asking, which makes gaps easy to spot.
Not today. It collects an appointment request and emails it to you, and your team confirms the time with the patient using whatever system you already use.
Not yet; WhatsApp is on our roadmap. Today Monology works on your clinic’s website, and appointment requests come to you by email.
The assistant collects only what your form asks for (we suggest name, phone, preferred time and reason for visit) and never asks for medical records. Enquiries are stored on secure servers in the United States and emailed to you. To write replies, chat messages are processed by our AI service provider. We don’t sell your patients’ details, and your data is deleted after you close your account. Our privacy policy has the full details.
No. You write your clinic’s details in plain language, the way you’d explain them to a new receptionist. Adding it to your website is a one-time step, and we’re happy to walk you through it on a demo call.
Yes. It adds to your current website as a chat window. No new website needed.
